We can provide precision manufactured split or endless shaft sleeves that protect the equipment shaft from wear, for the majority of applications thus eliminating the expense of total stripdown and shaft replacement. Sleeves can be produced in a variety of materials with a range of surface finishes and coatings designed specifically to match the sealing element used in each cartridge system.
In the vast majority of applications, a reliable, controlled flush is a key element of a successful cartridge system, so James Walker is able to supply bespoke flush packs, skid mounted for ease of deployment and designed to meet the demands of each application/cartridge system combination.
Whether using a James Walker flush pack or existing flush facilities it is always important to have guaranteed clean flush media and to ensure this we are able to supply suitable self-cleaning filtration systems matched to the flow rate and pressure requirements of each flush system.
Although relatively simple, in engineering terms, James Walker cartridge systems are different to the traditional methods of shaft sealing that most engineering teams will be familiar with. We therefore can provide a support service to investigate the issues surrounding existing sealing configurations to establish the root cause of the issue, through to providing training for on-site engineering teams in how to refurbish and refit our chosen cartridge system.
